Starter Wings

Here are all of the wings your Wyngro must start with in order to grow into a larger wing!

Please note that only ONE type of grown wing may be implemented to your Wyngro! So if your wyngo has "tiny arms wings" and "tiny back wings", only one type of prerequisite can "grow" into a larger form.

Tiny Back Wings

[ NON FLIGHT ]


Warning: Not a flying wing

 

Wyn Requirement: 25

Age Requirements: 2 Weeks

RULES:

  • Need these before other "back wing" upgrades can be applied! 

  • Wings must be a Base, Secondary, or Accent color currently on your wyngro.

  • Can only be a SINGLE color!

  • They must stay tiny! 

  • These wings ARE NOT FEATHERED. Think of them as ear nubs placed on the back.

Buggy Wings

The "Stop bugging me" wings!

Drawing Requirements:

Draw any Wyngro making/cooking food!

Drawing Requirement must be a Colored Piece, or Polished Piece.

RULES:

  • These wings must be white and transparent! (Please don't make them any noticeable color!)

  • Must be very small. 

  • These cannot be added to wynglings. (Even with a gem)

Tiny Feathered Arm Wings

Tiny Webbed

Odd Wings

Additional Requirements:

You may only add these to a Bred Wyngro who was born with a magical quirk.

RULES:

  • Wings can be transparent or solid.

  • The inner webbing must be a Base, Secondary, or Accent color currently on your wyngro.

  • The feathered parts of the wing must be the same color of the skin that it sprouts from! 

  • Follow the image example for sizing.

Medium Wings

All wings below must have the required prerequisite specified starter wing before a new form can grow!

  • Prerequisites can be ignored if applying an Upgrade Marble/Gem or with a special won Potion. 
     

Medium Webbed Back Wings

The wyngro you want this upgrade for must have "Tiny Back Wings" or "Tiny Webbed Back Wings" applied first.

Medium Feathered Back Wings

Age Requirements: 3 Months

Prerequisites: 

The wyngro you want this upgrade for must have "Tiny Back Wings" or "Tiny Feathered Back Wings" applied first.

  • These wings have two different layers of feathers!

Finger Wings

Finger Wings at the zoo.

Drawing Requirements: 

Draw the wyngro you want this upgrade for traditionally with colored markers! Crayola? Copics? Sharpies? Any markers will do. Just do your best!

Drawing Requirement must be a Polished Piece.

Prerequisites: 

The wyngro you want this upgrade for must have "Tiny Webbed Back Wings" or "Nugget Wings" applied first.

RULES:​

[ NON FLIGHT WINGS ]

  • Contrary to the name, Finger Wings aren't actually fingers, nor do they bend like them. It's just the funny shape that gives them their name!

Baffle Wings

These wings don't seem like they know WHAT they want to be!

 

Wyns needed: 300

Additional Requirements:

Own a Wyngro (or several wyngrew) that know each Basic magic element!  (Fire, Water, Wind & Earth)

Prerequisites: 

The wyngro you want this upgrade for must have  "Tiny Back Wings" or "Odd Wings" applied first.

RULES:

[ NON FLIGHT WINGS ]

  • One Wyngro can know all four or it can be split between several! 

  • The inner webbing can be any color already on your wyngro!

  • The feathered parts of the wing must be the same color of the skin that it sprouts from! 

Full-Grown Wings

All wings below must have the required prerequisite required wing upgrade.

Prerequisites can be ignored if applying an Upgrade Marble/Gem or with a special won Potion.

These wings are full-sized, final forms of their respective wing!

How do I switch from one wing to another? 

If you would like to change your gro's wing from one large style to another (Example: Change Large Feathered Back Wings to Large Webbed Back Wings) You would need to have 5 deviations drawn of your gro with Large Feathered Back Wings, then change them back down a starter wing like Tiny Back Wings, and grow from there.

 

Even if you have originally unlocked both in the past for the same gro, the wings cannot be swapped back and forth between large forms. (They need to grow them in!)

  • These wings can have semi-transparent, or solid webbing!

  • Wings must be a Base, Secondary, or Accent color currently on your wyngro.

Bewilder Wings

It's bewildering to me how these hybrid wings exist!

 

Wyns needed: 600

Additional Requirements:

Own a Wyngro (or several Wyngrew) that know each Complex Magic Element!  (Ice, Lightning & Light)

Prerequisites: 

The wyngro you want this upgrade for must have at least 3 deviations drawn of them with "Baffle Wings" 

​

RULES:

  • Inner webbing can be transparent or solid.

  • The colors of the Bewilder Wings must be the same as they were on the Baffle Wings. 

  • Just make sure any colors/markings transfer over in a reasonable way. 

  • No markings may be placed on the webbing portion. 

Scythe Wings

My my, what grim growths you have!

The wyngro you want this upgrade for must be created in traditional paper cut-out style!

RULES:

[ NON FLIGHT  WINGS]

  • Scythe wings have only two segments, the longer one is always near the hand.

  • Must be the same colour as the surface it grows from (when first applied)

  • Paper cut-outs must use at least four different colours of paper glued onto each other.

  • Paper cut-outs MUST be traditionally cut-out, No digital versions!

Switcher-Ditcher

Are you a switcher or a ditcher? Time to change things up!

How to use the Switcher-Ditcher Upgrade: The Switcher-Ditcher upgrade is used when you want to either remove an upgrade entirely, or move it from its original position. In order to use this upgrade, follow the rules below:

​

  • You must have at least 5 deviations of this wyngro uploaded to the group with its current upgrade(s) clearly visible before applying a change. 

  • In your description, list that you are using this upgrade: Switcher-Ditcher, and then link 5 deviations where you can clearly see the upgrade you are removing or changing. 

  • This upgrade is the only way you can move markings around! Marking colors can change color as you move them around if need be, so long as they are base, secondary or accent colors that already exist on your wyngro.

  • Switcher-Ditcher can be used to replace one type of ear for a new one, for example! (It can either remove things or replace them!)

  • If using the Switcher-Ditcher on more than one upgrade, your 5 deviations must show all of them clearly, and each one must be listed out. 

  • Downgrades are not compatible with this upgrade. See requirements for those separately.
